We ...I'm not sure what's going to happen this fall. We are looking at boy/girl scouts, gymnastics, drama, art, dance, and...I'm missing something. My daughter is very artistic and is into the arts. Unfortunately, gymnastics, drama, and art would be an hour away unless I find a local teacher and maybe start a program for homeschoolers here. My daughter "does" art everyday, but she is ready for formal training. I've got to start planning now if I don't want to go crazy this fall!Eviehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06856010546964996867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565921628653209307.post-2254012597226596322008-05-23T13:55:00.000-07:002008-05-23T13:55:00.000-07:00Oh, I can TOTALLY relate! Between church activities and things for the boys (7 & 5), we're busy 4-6 nights per week! The Summer is worse than the winter, as some things overlap (t-ball) but we're working at staying home more (especially with gas prices!).
Yes, let's stay home! My youngest even said to me the other day, "Mom why can't we stay home more and not be so busy?" There ya go.Amandahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00255762959569996508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2565921628653209307.post-4828491661053818552008-05-01T13:28:00.000-07:002008-05-01T13:28:00.000-07:00Mine are 6 & 8. We found that putting them in too many activities was just too draining on us physically and them physically and emotionally.

So for now, its one activity a piece at a time, with occasional overlaps.

It works great. Right now, my daughter is playing in the dirt with the neighbor and my son is playing with clay. They don't have this time to just be kids when they are running around like chickens with their heads cutoff.Rayven, Stay at Home Momhttp://www.stay-a-stay-at-home-mom.comnoreply@blogger.com
